Buying a 3DFurler
Whether you are switching from a “hank on” system or replacing an existing Roller Furler, the first thing to do is inspect the wire and the connections. Every situation is different, mast up, mast down and your ability to do the work that will determine a lot of your decision making.
Using a Rigger
If you hire a professional Rigger to do the inspection, remember that they are the “doctor” for your boat, but unlike a real “doctor”, Riggers do sell Roller Furlers.
Most are loyal to certain Brand Names for two reasons; our surveys tell us that those reasons are usually for profit and familiarity; the more a Rigger installs the same brand of Roller Furler, the better, faster and more profitable they become. Those reasons are compelling and that’s just business.
If a Rigger tells you that they don’t know 3DFurler and can’t buy from us, take control of the situation by telling them to become a 3DFurler Dealer, purchase at Dealer Pricing and re-sell it back to you at the Suggested Retail Price shown on our website. You can keep the labor separate or bundle it.
The Hybrid Solution
If the above does not work for you get the rigging done anyway. You’re going to see clear materials and labor pricing.
The 3DFurler system does not require a Professional Rigger to install it. You can do it solo or any sailor, boat yard employee or friend can assist for a fraction of the cost of a Rigger.
3DFurler also supports installations by live video and it’s always free. Just see our testimonials…
